Dry eye treatment
Dry eye is a common condition, which often manifests itself with symptoms of gritty, burning, uncomfortable, red eyes.
At Opticare we specialise in the treatment of dry eye. There are numerous different treatment options we can offer.
The most appropriate and effective treatment for you will depend on the exact cause of your dry eye. Therefore, we first need to perform a dry eye assessment where we can find this out, and put a treatment plan in place.
Here are some useful examples of our dry eye treatments on offer:
FREE Kids Eye Tests
Good eyesight is crucial in making sure a child develops to their full potential both at school and socially.
It is especially important to look after children’s eyes as their eyes are still developing throughtout early childhood so if problems are treated early, it can make a lasting difference.
Despite all this, research shows that around 20% of school-aged children have an undiagnosed vision problem.
We would recommend a regular eye test even if the child is having no symptoms.
Especially however, if the child is having any of symptoms below:
- An eye appearing to drift inwards or outwards
- Difficulty Concentrating
- Behavioural Problems
- Headaches
- Sitting too close to television
- Frequent eye rubbing
AT OPTICARE, CHILDRENS EYE TESTING IS COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE, REGARDLESS OF WHAT TESTS ARE REQUIRED.
